Creating a supplier workflow in ProcureDesk ensures a structured approval process for managing supplier-related actions. Follow the steps below to effectively set up a supplier workflow.


Prerequisites

  • Access to the Admin side of ProcureDesk.


Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Access Workflow Configurations

  • Log in to your ProcureDesk account.

  • Switch to the Admin side of ProcureDesk.

  • Navigate to Configurations and select Manage Workflows.

Step 2: Create a New Workflow

  • Click on Add Workflow under the Actions section.

  • Provide a name for the workflow.

  • Set the Workflow Scope to Supplier to ensure the workflow applies specifically to supplier-related activities.

Step 3: Define Entry Conditions

  • Choose an entry condition from the dropdown menu. Options include:

    • All: No specific entry condition required.

Step 4: Set Approval Levels

  • Define the approval levels by selecting one or more of the following options:

    • HR Hierarchy: Routes the approval to the user’s Reporting Manager.

    • Group Approval: Allows any approver within the group to approve the supplier.

    • Individual User: Routes approvals to specific individuals based on predefined criteria, such as department or amount thresholds.

Step 5: Save and Submit the Workflow

  • After setting up the workflow, click Submit to save it.
