Item prices are dynamic. Here's how users or approvers can update item pricing while creating orders and save the new pricing in the catalog for future orders.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
Permission to update the catalog.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Create an Order
Start by creating an order or using a draft order you wish to raise.
Step 2: Add line item/s
After filling in the header and shipping details, click on Add Line Items.
Choose an item from the internal catalog and add it to the order.
Click on the Line number to open the item and make changes in the unit price of the item.
Then scroll to the bottom to find the check box labeled "Update catalog with these changes".
Check the box if the line item needs to be updated.
Lastly, click on "Update Item" to save the changes and this will also update the item details on the catalog.
