How to manually create Project Codes?

Prerequisites

  • Admin Access: Ensure you have admin access to enable and manage project codes.


​Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Enable Project Codes

  1. Navigate to General Settings > Configurations.

  2. Under Company Settings, go to Purchase Order Settings.

  3. Ensure the Enable Project Code setting is turned on.

  4. To make project codes mandatory, check the Make Project Code Mandatory option.

2. Accessing Project Codes

  1. Return to the Configuration Page.

  2. Under Master Data, select Manage Project Code.

3. Manually Add Project Codes

  1. Click on Add Project Code.

  2. Enter the required details:

    • Project Code Name

    • Project Code

    • Approver (if applicable)

  3. Select the Project Approver from the available user list.

  4. Click Save to add the new project code.

4. Edit Project Codes

  1. Navigate to the Manage Project Code section.

  2. Click the Edit Icon next to the project code you wish to modify.

  3. Update details like Project Name, Code, or Approver.

  4. Click Save to apply the changes.
