Step 2: Set up a Role for ProcureDesk

Prerequisites

  • Ensure you have administrative access to NetSuite.

  • You have created a ProcureDesk User in NetSuite.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Search for ‘Manage Roles’:

    • In the NetSuite search bar, type ‘Manage Roles’ and press Enter.

    • Select ‘Page Manage Roles’ from the search results.

  2. Create a New Role:

    • Click on ‘New Role’.

    • Under Name, type ‘ProcureDesk’.

    • Under Subsidiary Restrictions, select ‘All’.

    • Under Accounting Books, select ‘Primary’.

  3. Configure Authentication:

    • Check the ‘Web Services Only Role’ checkbox.

    • Set ‘Duration of Trusted Device’ to 30 Days.

  4. Assign Permissions:

    • Under Permissions > Transactions, select the required items and click ‘Add’.

    • Under Permissions > Reports, select the required items and click ‘Add’.

    • Under Permissions > Lists, select the required items and click ‘Add’.

    • Under Permissions > Setup, select the required items and click ‘Add’.

  5. Save the Role:

    • Click on ‘Save’.

  6. Assign the Role:

    • Search for the ProcureDesk User in your user list.

    • Assign them the ProcureDesk role you just created.
