  • Edit an existing privilege to give access to the buyer's dashboard or create a new one that includes access to it.

  • Within the privilege settings, select "Buyer Dashboard" under the Request Purchase section to enable this feature.

  • Save your changes by clicking "Update Privilege."

Step 3: Verify access to Buyer's Dashboard

  • Switch to the "Standard" side.

  • Click on "Request" > Buyer View

Step 4: Use the Dashboard to place Orders

  • On the Buyer's Dashboard, select the checkbox for the requests you wish to place an order for.

  • Finalize your order by clicking on "Create Order".

This will create a draft PO, which needs to be submitted to the supplier.

FAQs

  1. Is the dashboard mandatory for buyers to place orders?

    • No, the buyer can also create a PO right out of an approved request.

  2. What should I do if I can't find the "Buyer View" option?

    • Ensure you have followed all the steps to assign the "Buyer Dashboard access" privilege, without the privilege you will not have access to the "Buyer View". If the issue persists, contact your administrator.
