Changing Purchase Order (PO) templates in ProcureDesk is a simple process that allows you to customize your POs to meet your specific needs. This guide will walk you through the steps to switch and configure PO templates.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure the following:

  • You are an admin and able to switch to the Admin console.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Log In

  • Log in to your ProcureDesk account.

Step 2: Switch to Admin Console

Step 3: Access Configurations

  • Click on "Configurations."

Step 4: Go to Company Settings

  • Navigate to "Company Settings."

Step 5: Click on Purchase Order

  • Click on "Purchase Order."

Step 6: Select and Modify the Order Template

  • Scroll down and locate "Order Template."

  • Click on it to see a list of available Order Templates.

  • Change the templates one by one, save the changes, and check which template lists the fields you're looking for.


​Best Practice for Efficient Template Checking

  • Switch to the standard console.

  • Duplicate the ProcureDesk tab.

Tab 1: Open the PO landing page. (General Console)

Tab 2: Open the Purchase Order settings page. (Admin Console)

  • Change and save to any PO template on the settings page.

  • Switch to the PO landing page tab and click on the PDF option under "Actions" to view the new template.

  • This method saves time and extra steps by allowing you to view changes immediately without switching between different sections repeatedly.


By following these steps, you can efficiently manage and customize your PO templates in ProcureDesk.

Please note: The templates are no longer valid on the new UI. You can pick and choose the fields as per your requirements from the PO Configuration option.
