When a vendor ships the product, the vendor sends the shipping information via email and it's also called an Advanced Shipping Notice.
You can update the tracking information into ProcureDesk and track the status of the order while it is in transit.
Steps:
1. To update the ASN information into ProcureDesk, navigate to the order and open it by clicking on the order #.
2. Then under Actions click on the "Create ASN" button
3. Enter the tracking information and click on "Create ASN" to create ASN.
Tracking numbers and carriers are mandatory.
You can add additional information like line quantity and line item number.
4. The system would update the status of the order to "ASN created" and you can now track the order.
