Overview
An end-user can request items from the inventory by creating an inventory order. Once the order is approved, it can be released by an inventory clerk.
Prerequisites
Ensure you have permission to create inventory orders.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Create a New Order:
Start by creating a new order.
Click on the "Add Line Items" button to begin adding items to your order.
Add Line Items:
Choose the items from the catalog by selecting the "Add from Catalog" option.
Click on "Order from Inventory" to include the selected items in your order.
Create the Inventory Order:
Complete the process similarly to creating a regular vendor order, filling all the required fields for order creation.
Approval and Release:
Once your inventory order is approved, it will be listed under the "Release" tab within the inventory module.
An authorized person can then release the items against the order.
