How to withdraw a request?

Withdrawing a request allows you to make necessary changes before resubmitting it to the buyer.

Prerequisites

  • Make sure you are on the "standard" side of ProcureDesk.

  • An existing request that has been submitted

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Locate the Request:

    • Go to the request by clicking on the "Request" menu on the left-hand side.

  2. Open the Request:

    • Find the request you wish to withdraw.

    • Click on the request number to open the request.

  3. Withdraw the Request:

    • Scroll to the bottom of the screen.

    • Click on the "Withdraw" button.

  4. Confirm Withdrawal:

    • A small window will appear.

    • Enter the reasons for withdrawing the request.

    • Click on "Withdraw" to complete the process.

  1. Can I withdraw a request that has already been approved?

    • No, you can only withdraw requests not yet approved.

  2. What happens after I withdraw a request?

    • The request will return to draft status, allowing you to make necessary changes before resubmitting it.

  3. Can I see the withdrawal history of a request?

    • The withdrawal reason along with the timestamp will be recorded in the audit history.

  4. Who will be notified once I withdraw the request?

    • The approver will be notified if you have withdrawn a request.
