Updating the Budget Owner for a specific budget is crucial for ensuring proper financial oversight and assigning accountability to the right individual. Follow these steps to easily update the Budget Owner in ProcureDesk.


Prerequisites

  • Admin Access: Ensure you have admin access to the ProcureDesk account.

  • Existing Budget: Verify that the budget requiring updates is already created in the system.


Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Access Configurations

  • Log in to your ProcureDesk account.

  • Navigate to Budgets on the left menu.

Step 2: Edit the Budget

  • Click open the budget from the list of existing budgets.

  • Click the Edit button next to the budget.

Step 3: Update the Budget Owner

  • After opening the budget, click on Actions > Edit.

  • Select the new Budget Owner from the dropdown list in the "Owner" field.

Step 4: Save Changes

  • Click the Save button to apply the changes.
