Overview
ProcureDesk currently enforces a session timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity to enhance security. However, some customers require the flexibility to customize this setting based on their specific needs. This guide outlines the steps to configure session timeout settings within ProcureDesk.
Prerequisites
Admin access to ProcureDesk.
Access to Configuration > General Settings in the ProcureDesk dashboard.
Steps to Configure Session Timeout
Log in to ProcureDesk
Access General Settings
Switch to Admin side of ProcureDesk.
Click on the Configuration menu.
Go to Company Setting > General.
Locate the Session Timeout Setting
Scroll down to find the Session Timeout (Minutes) option.
This setting allows you to define the duration of inactivity (in minutes) before a user is automatically logged out.
Set the Desired Timeout Duration
Enter a value between 30 and 1440 minutes (24 hours maximum).
Ensure the value aligns with your organization's security policies.
Save the Changes
Click the Save button to set the new session timeout.
The changes will take effect immediately for all users.

1. Will users be notified before their session expires?
Currently, there is no built-in notification for session expiration. Users will need to re-login if they exceed the configured inactivity period.
2. Can different users have different session timeouts?
