How to lock the "Ship To" address on the PO?

By following these steps, you can lock the Ship-to address in ProcureDesk, ensuring consistent and accurate shipping information on PO.

Prerequisites

  • Admin access to ProcureDesk.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Access Configurations

  1. Log in and switch to the Admin side of ProcureDesk.

  2. Navigate to the Configurations section.

2. Manage Privileges

  1. Select the "Manage Privileges" option.

  2. Open to edit the privilege for which you want to lock the Ship-to address. (For eg, Let's say you would like to lock the Ship-To location for the Requestors, therefore, we will edit the 'Requestor' privilege)

3. Lock Ship-to Address

  1. In the Orders section, check the "Lock Ship-to Address" option.

  2. Save the changes to update the privileges.

Now, users with this privilege will only be able to select their default Ship-to address on POs.

  1. What if a user needs to change the Ship-to address for a specific order?

    • Users with the locked Ship-to privilege will not be able to change the address. Ensure the correct address is set as default or adjust the user's privileges as needed.

  2. How do I set or change a user's default Ship-to address?

    • Navigate to the user's profile settings in the admin console and update the default Ship-to address by editing the user's profile.
