An order can be closed if:
All the items ordered have been delivered.
The order has been invoiced.
Note: Once the order is closed, you cannot create a receipt against the order or create an invoice against the order.

Access to the 'Order' module with permissions to manage and close orders.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open the Order
Navigate to the orders page.
Click on the order number you want to close.
Step 2: Mark the Order as Closed
Click on Actions.
Select the Mark as Closed option.
Step 3: Confirm Closing the Order
Click OK to close the order.
