User Group access to show/hide Punchouts
User Group access to show/hide Punchouts

You will learn how to check and assign punchout access based on user groups.

Updated over 3 months ago

The user groups allow you to limit the access of both Internal and Punchout Catalogs. Once a user group is assigned to a Catalog, the users in that group can only see that Catalog.

So if you are looking to hide a specific catalog from the users, assign the group to all other catalogs except the one you want to hide from them.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure:

  • You have the admin role.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Access Admin Console

  1. Log in to your system.

  2. Navigate to the admin console.

Step 2: Navigate to Users

  1. Go to the Users menu.

Step 3 (a): Create a New Group

  1. Navigate to Groups

  2. Click "Create Group"

  3. Enter your Group Name

  4. Select the users to be included in Group Users.

  5. Click "Create Group"

Step 3 (b): Edit an existing User Group

  1. Navigate to Groups.

  2. Click on Edit to view and add/remove the users.

Step 4: Navigate to Catalogs

  1. Navigate to the Catalogs section.

Step 5: Access Punchouts and Assign Group(s)

  1. Click on the Punchout Tab

  2. Open the Punchout that you want the users in the group to have access to by clicking on Edit.

  3. Select the group(s) and Save.

Now, the users in the group assigned to this Catalog will only see this Catalog. If they should have access to other Catalogs, please assign this group to other Catalogs in the same manner.
